About
I'm Josh Bertog. I'm a director of engineering at Fullstory, where I lead the teams building its AI products, including in-app AI agents and the Fullstory MCP server. I joined in 2022 as an engineering manager and grew into the director role.
Before that I managed engineering at Interfolio, rebuilt a legacy dispatch system as a cloud platform at Jonel Engineering, and started out building predictive analytics at Predixion Software.
Outside of work I keep building. I run my own life out of an AI second brain, and I've set up AI for people close to me: reporting for a small marketing agency, and an assistant that keeps a vacation rental business on top of its permits, tasks and inbox. Real estate keeps coming up, mostly because the people around me work in it.
I grew up in Orange County, studied computer information systems at Point Loma in San Diego, and moved to Austin about six years ago.

- Talk · 2025 Google Next. Presented the Fullstory Workforce Agent for Google Agentspace, an agentic AI integration, alongside Google, Palo Alto Networks and NVIDIA.
- Workshops Google campuses. Led workshops on finding automation opportunities in how people use their software, and measuring what AI agents change.
- Patent Fullstory Workforce, co-inventor. An AI platform that shows how employees use their digital tools, so teams can cut wasted work.
